This sculpture Desert Mirage, is the year that the great white pines were harvested.  What you see is the root structure after 602 years. The harvest of these majestic pines was the greatest harvest in all of history. This wood was enough to circle the equator 4 times. The brokent barbedwire dates back to the late 18th century. This is a one of a kind piece.
